Does the 40 oz fit in most car cup holders?

Do you have to flip the carry handle to press the button? I’m hoping to throw this in my kids backpacks but i don’t want things to hit the button?

Does the 24oz bottle fit in standard car cup holders? (I know the 32oz doesn’t.)
