Amazing Build Quality!
Trail Mix Belt, where have you been all of my life? Seriously, this is one of the greatest belts I have ever used. I have been through a half dozen of these before I found the Nathan offering. They usually get returned because they move all over the place while running. Nathan's design is flawless. It stays exactly where you want it to stay. The belt can be adjusted to fit any body shape. If there is any extra belt slack, the belt has a velcro wrap to secure the loose fabric. The belt has two 10oz bottles of fluid. I wish the belts held larger bottles, but it's okay. The only time I use my belt is during training runs for marathons. The center pouch is big enough to store 14 GU energy gel packets or one 8oz water bottle - for sizing reference. There is also a front mesh pouch, where the Nathan logo is that allows other items. I usually put some moleskin, bandaids and an extra pair of socks in that part. During a marathon, I will not run with this belt because there are aid stations every two miles. This belt was invaluable for me when I completed a 50K (31.06 miles) run in the woods of Arkansas. Aid stations are every six miles for the ultras. While they stock you up with food and fluids, you are on your own until you reach aid. I would suck all 20 ounces down between the stations and I had plenty of GU gels to keep me fueled up. The belt was worn for over 8 hours that day, and I forgot it was there half of the time. The final part I love about the belt may be the best part. On the front of the belt, there are two bungee cords. These are there so you can secure items you don't want to wear any longer during your run. I was able to securely hold my gloves and beanie and keep going. The cords are big enough and tight enough to put an extra pair of my Vibram Five Fingers on my hips, should I need it. Definitely worth the investment!

Not annoying and totally awesome. Must have for summer runners.
Obviously it takes a little getting used to and the sound of the water slushing around can be distracting. That being said I am thrilled that I bought this. I take it out for any run 6+ miles and I have no complaints. It adjusts easily and doesn’t chafe wherever I put it. Living in Florida, not chafing is a the top of my list. It’s tight, doesn’t jiggle, and stays where I put it. Adjustable side straps make it quick and easy to tighten as you go if maybe it’s too lose or you’ve lost some mass during the run. The fanny pack holds my iphone10xr, sunglasses, body glide, keys. I put two or three gu packets in the tiny pocket. It doesn’t move it doesn’t jiggle and it’s not a distraction. I don’t know what I was doing before the belt but I wasn’t living my best life that’s for sure

Great, but may move around for those with smaller waists
I love the hydration belt. It stores everything I need when I go on short runs (keys, phone, cash) and fits snugly. However, there is a tendency for the belt to bounce while running when there is a lot of water in the bottles. My waist measurement is 27 inches, and the bouncing is not so uncomfortable, but if you have similar measurements, keep in mind that the belt may bounce when the bottles are completely filled. I do like the fact that the bottles stay put within the bottle holsters, however, the bouncing sometimes causes the belt to move around. In order to combat this, I've used the elastics around the belt to try to tighten the area and sometimes I'll wrap a cloth bag around one of the sides to make the belt tighter. I've had zero problems with the bottles leaking. The pocket is just large enough for me to fit a Nexus 5 (which is a pretty large phone) without a case.

Great water belt, and my Galaxy S8 fits.
My old Nathan water belt (from 2007) was in serious need of replacement. I'm pretty sure the water bottles were pre-BPA panic, and my phone had slowly but surely outgrown the pouch. That said, the belt, itself, was still in great condition, and it had traveled many miles with me. So I was happy to see good reviews for the much newer version. I was a little worried that my phone wouldn't fit, but I took a chance. I love it! My Samsung Galaxy S8 fits perfectly with room for 3-4 gu pouches (tightly). I keep my phone in an Otterbox wallet case, which has a slimmer profile than some of the larger cases. I'm not sure how the Defender would fit. The water bottles open easily, and they don't leak. My favorite part of the pack is that the waist belt is secured with a buckle rather than velcro. I guess I hadn't paid as much attention to that element when I was comparing products, so I was pleasantly surprised, especially because my old water belt had velcro. At 5'3" and 135lbs, I find that the belt has plenty of extra length, but is easily managed with the elastic loops. I can wear it on my hips, and it doesn't bounce around (unless I wear it without the water bottles in it, then I have to wear it higher at my natural waist). All in all, I'm extremely happy with the product. I went with the pink (raspberry?) color, because it was significantly less expensive than the other colors, so I feel like I got a great product at a bargain price. And, because bright colors are in these days, it matches my running shoes. Ha!

Works great, holds cell phone and more!
I really really like how this belt holds my cell phone (galaxy s8 with a case), my car keys, and a small snack and still zips closed. I've found I can even keep a small washcloth in the elastics along the front where energy chews would normally be kept, and believe you could secure gloves there if needed. Added that the bottles are of good quality, and the pouches for the bottles hold other Nathan bottles and this belt is great for long runs. I've now worn it for several 10+ mile runs in Missouri heat, and it doesn't bounce, doesn't come loose, and holds everything I need it to. I do wish it was washable, since the back of the pouch does get sweaty, but nothing is perfect.

Excellent Running Belt
I used the old version of this for 5+ years and thousands of miles of running and racing. I use it every single run and clock 25-35 miles a week. It has taken me to a 1:29 half marathon finish and to the national championships in triathlon. I have never had a single issue with the build quality or materials used here. I always have a small towel secured to the side bungees and in the winter I strap quite a variety of clothing to the belt depending on run length and expected weather. I also always have a poncho and mylar blanket as well as a package of blocks and my phone. I have never had a bungee or clasp failure nor has a bottle holster broken or failed in any way. I cannot stress enough how good this belt is. 20 oz of water is plenty and I can mix stuff into one bottle and still have clean water in the other. I will keep buying this belt as long as I need one. The ONLY reason I replaced my 5+ year old version of this belt was because I would leave the zipper unzipped in the exact same spot after every run. Being a heavy sweater, the zipper accumulated sweat and became too corroded to use. This has happened on every single item with a zipper I use, so no knock on Nathan for this. Every single pair of shorts I own that has a butt zipper also has the same thing happen, and they even get washed after each run. If I was better about washing the belt as manufacturer recommends I wouldn't be writing this review as I would still be using my old belt.

Upgraded to this belt...should have done it sooner.
This is my second Nathan hydration belt purchase--I've used a handful of other belts over the years, including some hand-me-downs, but I started running half marathons and was looking to upgrade to something with a pouch that fit a little better. Expectations exceeded. Pros: Fully adjustable belt meant I could actually make it fit me. I'm a pear-shape, and lots of belts I tried didn't hold their adjustments and ultimately came loose or rode up, until I was practically wrenching them tight enough to cut into my spleen and/or placing them above my belly button to keep them from bouncing/migrating. Not so with this one...it's semi-stretchy, so I could push it down towards my hips and it didn't budge. Again...Did. Not. Move. For 13 miles. There are velcro loops that also hold the excess belt length...and those babies do not come undone. The pouch in the back was super easy to get in and out of on the fly; holsters helped keep the water bottles in place. Just overall comfortable to wear, move, run, stretch in. Cons: Water holsters are a little tight to get in and out of, but I'm sure they'll loosen with some use. Pouch is not big enough for my phone (Samsung Galaxy S5). Five stars...I've done 2 half marathons and a 5 miler in this, and I look forward to using it every time I go for a long run.

Very solid hydration belt with room for small improvements
I've used a FuelBelt for the past year or so but decided it was time for a new hydration belt with more capacity. My old FuelBelt held two 6-oz bottles whereas this Nathan belt holds two 10-oz bottles, which definitely makes a difference for longer runs (>10 miles). The bottles themselves seem to be well constructed and easily slide in and out of their holsters, but only while the belt is on - it's a lot harder to put the bottles back in if you're just filling them up in the kitchen. I use one bottle for water, another for Scivation Xtend (a great intra-workout catalyst for low-carbers by the way), and so far there haven't been any problems with leaks. Two quick things to note regarding the bottles: 1) Be careful when you close the bottle with your teeth - the yellow lip part has pinched my lips before. 2) Wish these bottles were clear so I could accurately tell how full they are. The belt is a lot easier to put on/take off due to the plastic clasp design (as opposed to the FuelBelt's velcro design). This will also help with durability - the reason why I wanted to replace my FuelBelt was that the velcro was becoming less effective over time, with the entire belt falling off twice in the past month. The back pocket is roomy and easily fits my phone, keys, ID, and some cash for emergencies. One thing that I wish could be improved on is the fact that the belt does seem to ride up a bit for me. This might be because I wear the belt very low (directly on my hip bones, below the waistline of my running shorts) in order to prevent awkward tan lines from the hydration belt (I mostly run shirtless during long runs). Another reason that could be causing this issue is probably the uneven weight distribution from 20 oz of liquid + small personal items all in the back vs. nothing on the front. I just end up having to push down the belt once in a while - not the biggest deal, but mildly annoying. Overall a fantastic option for long distance runners that need a bit more hydration than the traditional belts with 6-oz bottles.

Cumple con su objetivo
El producto está bien acabado y cumple con su objetivo. El cinturón es ancho y se sujeta bien. Es bastante recomendable para salidas cortas.

Very comfortable, enough water for long runs
This is a very comfortable hydration belt. When adjusted properly there is very little bounce. There is enough water for medium-long runs, as well a good size pouch for mobile, keys and a couple of gels

Great water bottle belt.
Did a lot of research about a water bottle carrier for running and this was in top ten. I went for this as reviews said it did not bounce and had a good size zipped pouch. I can fit in a iPhone 6 in a slim case, keys, money, gloves, tissue and lucozade energy tabs and there was still room. It has bungee straps on sides at front so that you can tuck in a jacket, t-shirt or gloves. It also has another tear open pocket at front which would be handy for gels or tissue. Wore it at weekend on a 7 mile run and was really pleased. It was very comfortable to wear. Seems like a lot of money but very good quality and it's an investment piece. Nice click buckle at front and adjustable straps. Belt has to be worn in small of back (so bottles are at back). Bottles are easy to get out and put back even when runnng. Lovely rubbery lids that are easy to open and no leakage. Plan to wear this weekend on a 20 mile run and also later in year for marathon.
