I've had this hub for 16 months now and have never had an issue with it. I use it with my MacBook Air which came with only two ports (both type C), for downloading from USB memory sticks, for connecting a DVD player that uses two USB hubs at once, and also for an external hard drive—I've played a DVD while backing up at the same time through this hub and it worked fine. It's little and cute and I really like it. It was also about 1/4 the price of a similar but less functional hub at the well-known big box electronics place.

My husband decided that this would be a great buy. I was skeptical because the cost was so low. But this little device works great! Now we can hook it up and stream movies from our laptop to our non-Smart TV! It is easy to just plug in and so far the streaming has been seamless. We recently went out of town for a wedding and it worked just as well in our Air B&B as it does at our home. I would highly recommend!

Size and portability are great. I appreciated being able to plug in just 2 things to my laptop (this hub + power) when moving between home office and work.After about 1-1/2 years one of the USB ports stopped working. Now the HDMI port has become unreliable, so I have to plug in HDMI straight to my laptop.For a ~$10 device, it’s been a good value to last 2 years, but it’s lost its usefulness now, time to replace.

Hard to believe, but you can spend a fortune on a MacPro and end up without any ports that you need. It's up to Hoyoki USB C Hub Adapter to solve that problem, a task it does particularly well. It has every port I need carefully laid out in an arrangement that's inherently placed to be easy to use. More importantly, it has every port I need. The product is small enough to tuck anywhere. It's very light. It meets my needs perfectly.

Good USB C Hub for the price. Mainly used for connecting Macbook Pro to external 1440p monitor, and one wireless mouse dongle in 1 USB port. On about 8 hours a day, and has been holding up for almost 2 months now. Does not get very hot (gets pretty warm though), which is already great compared to similar products that I've used before (got almost too hot to touch and broke after 6 months). Hoping this will keep working for a long while.

While I imagine this would be great on the road, for me this hub is great at home. Provides a seamless connection and the older video port works great for the one older format monitor I have. Never had issues with the thunderbolt connection to the laptop even with when changing to a different laptop.

My monitor is a Philips. As an artist I like drawing on my iPad but it’s difficult to see smaller details and I’ve been wanting to find a way to connect the ipad to the monitor for some time now for use at home. I found out the port for a hard drive also works for my Jellycomb wireless mouse and keyboard by putting the chip in. Very useful!

This device is defective. If you plug in a regular USB Wireless Mouse to the port, the scrolling function on the mouse works backwards instead of normally.The port converts a USB (standard larger size) plug to a Nano USB (smaller Apple size) plug. This fits correctly into the Apple Mac Nano USB socket receiver. This port does connect to Apple receiver, and the mouse works correctly with left and right side buttons, but the scrolling function is reversed, leading to frustration during use. I cannot work with this device, it is very unproductive.1. Update: After I left a negative review, the seller tried their best to make me change my review.They sent me a new device, without my asking. It is still defective.2. They sent me emails to my personal email, not through Amazon, offering a refund if I change my review and sell my integrity. I refused. I will keep it and the review stays.3. They started spamming my personal email with daily emails asking me to change my review. It was not done through Amazon but through a personal Gmail account.5. I asked them to stop immediately.6. They continued to spam me regularly each time with a different email from a Gmail account.7. I contacted Amazon and reported them for being in violation and using my personal email.8. Amazon Customer Service promised to remove them from their marketplace and ban them from selling.9. Amazon has not removed them from their marketplace and they continue to sell a defective product. The customer service lied to me that this would happen. Same company continues to operate.10. They continue to spam and harass me daily with emails to my personal account about changing their review.11. I have contacted Jeff Bezos' office directly to take this seller off the Amazon marketplace. Their product is defective and they break all the rules of contact. My personal email is now compromised by this Chinese seller who spams me daily to change my review.12. I will also file a complaint with the FTC and Atty General because Amazon has done nothing so far to make these emails stop, and to remove a vindictive seller from their marketplace.Buyers beware of this kind of vindictive behavior from foreign sellers who think they are above US laws. The price we have to pay for defective, cheap goods from China that is eroding US manufacturing. This is unacceptable.
