Graduation Party MVP: Fast, Hot, and Hassle-Free
I bought the Chef Master 15,000 BTU butane stove (model 90019) for my daughter’s graduation party and it worked out great. It’s super lightweight and easy to carry around, plus it comes with a handy little case which made setup and cleanup really simple. I was impressed with how efficient it was on butane—one canister lasted through a few big batches of food without needing to swap it out. It boiled water in a 20-quart pot surprisingly fast, way faster than my regular stove at home. The overall learning curve was basically zero; it’s really straightforward to use. The ignition worked every time, no hassle there. The only things to keep in mind are that the instructions weren’t very clear—pretty basic and not super helpful, though it was easy enough to figure out on my own. Also, even on the low setting, the flame stays pretty strong, so I had to pay closer attention to avoid burning things like sauces that I’d normally leave simmering. Overall, it’s a solid little stove that handled everything I threw at it and made outdoor cooking way easier. I’d definitely recommend it for parties, camping, or anytime you need some extra cooking power outside.

It works fine.
It works fine. It does the job. Some days I use my Weber gas grill. Some days I use my charcoal grill. And sometimes I use this stove as it is the perfect solution to what I need; for example to heat up my cast iron fry pan outside on my patio instead of having a smokey hot pan inside my kitchen. Very easy to ignite. Very hot flame. Compact. Appears to be very durable. Very useful appliance I'd say.

THIS WORKS GREAT!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this several years ago to teach Wok Cooking on my channel and, with an attachment it looks and works great. These burners and this particular brand is used outdoors by professionals all the time. I use it inside over my electric glass range so the stove fan can still carry out the smoke and steam from cooking. The plastic feet tend to slide around on that surface but an easy fix I applied were round rubber adhesive stickers that can be purchase for the bottoms of items that need grip. Cook times are faster with gas than electric heat because it's instant. It's not much bigger than one gas range burner, just a few more inches down one side to hold a can of butane. Easy to use, fairly light weight. If I were to change anything, I would like an attachment to hook up a hose to a larger tank but I think this can be purchased with a versatile attachment too. I recommend high btu like this 15000 or higher if you need really high heat, like wok cooking requires.

Can it hold it?
So far it has been working fine and I look forward to having the extra output when I need it. My complaint is the carry case. Very thin material and it just feels cheap. I feel it would offer very little in the way of protection.

I Love this stove.
I have a small kitchen and thus I have only a 24”, four burner stove that I paid over 2K for. Because of the limited burner size, I do NOT get enough BTU’s to properly sear food when using larger ( 12” ) pans, the result, uneven heat and poor searing. This stove does the job very very nicely. It provides needed heat QUICKLY and EVENLY.LIKE SEARING WITH A BLOWTORCH, even though producer recommends not exceeding using anything larger than a 10” pan. I made a deflector with aluminum foil to select the heat from the canister and that works perfectly.Bottom line Excellent Product

A Terrific Ultra-Portable Powerful Burner
I purchased this 15,000 BTU model to use for wok cooking as well as for high-heat searing the surface of sous vide steaks. It functions extremely well for both of those tasks, quickly heating pans to the "screaming hot" temperatures required for certain types of specialized cooking. It's also quite easy to use. From insertion of the butane cartridge, to lighting the burner, to ease of clean up, each task is a breeze. The burner is also quite lightweight and very portable. That's a positive benefit most of the time, however it does mean you shouldn't make vigorous shaking/tossing movements with a wok or you'll risk moving the burner, too. But using it with care is a small price to pay for the high output flame generated from this stove top.The only downside I've encountered is the "hard carrying case" that's included with the burner. "Hard" is not a word I would use to describe the flimsy plastic sheath-like thing that surrounded the stove when I opened the package. If the plastic used was any thinner, it would be translucent, and the tiny plastic hinges are laughable. Honestly, the case is an absolute joke ... a bad joke. A very bad joke. One more thing: Before I purchased this Chef Master 90019 15,000 BTU portable stove I asked other purchasers if non-Chef Master butane refills could be used. (I live in an area where butane canisters can't be shipped to individuals, and Chef Master brand items are not available in my state.) Although I didn't receive a satisfactory answer to my question at that time, I can provide the definitive answer now. Yes, other brands of 8 ounce butane canisters absolutely do work with this stove. I've used 8 ounce notched Sterno brand butane canisters as well as Coleman branded ones, and both brands are compatible with this stove.

MEGA Powerful flame
Highly recommend. My son texted me to let me know the stove flame even on low was big enough to cook. The last stove I bought him was a fail. He said it wasn't hot enough to boil water. He said this stove is perfect. It heats up as expected.

Great stove
I like the wind block feature. I bought two of them because I don’t like cooking inside of my 5th wheel trailer. Plenty of heat to cook anything. I am very satisfied with this stove. This portable stove is well made and works great.
